Pau Aulí is a costume designer, production designer, and visual artist whose practice moves fluidly across film, theatre, and music.

Rooted in a background in Fine Arts and further shaped by studies in London, Barcelona, and Madrid, his work combines a strong visual sensibility with a deep understanding of materiality, craftsmanship, and narrative.

His multidisciplinary approach has led him to collaborate with filmmakers including Agustí Villaronga, Albert Serra, Carlos Marqués-Marcet, Antonio Chavarrías, Lucia Alenyar, Álex Sardà, Albert Moyà, Bàrbara Farré, and Diego Céspedes.

He has received three Gaudí Award nominations for Best Costume Design for The Belly of the Sea, The Abbess, and Polvo Serán, as well as a Max Award nomination for Little Women. In 2025, he was selected for Berlinale Talents and he is a member of the European Film Academy.

Alongside his work in cinema, he has designed costumes for stage productions by Marcos Morau, Eneko Sagardoy, Lucia Astigarraga, Vero Cendoya, and Lucia del Greco.

His collaborations in music span artists such as Maria Arnal, Alizzz, Camilo, Sam Smith, Tarta Relena, Rigoberta Bandini, Pol Batlle, and María José Llergo.

His work on the visual identity of Clamor, Maria Arnal's groundbreaking album, was the subje
ct of a documentary produced by CaixaForum+, which premiered at Moritz Feed Dog 2024
